This FREE 5-week programme is perfect for young people aged 12-14s who are interested in exploring drama and theatre through group exercises and fun games. Activities are tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will build their confidence and make friends whilst learning about LYT and future opportunities with us.

For young people ages 8-11 who live and or learn in Lewisham and are interested in drama, performance and theatre making opportunities.

How do I take part?

JYT  - theatre makers

Want to share ideas, tell stories and explore characters?

This FREE 6-week programme is perfect for young people aged 8-14 who are interested in creating stories, developing characters and writing for performances. Facilitators will support the group to create their own material, share ideas and develop scripts. Activities are tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will build their confidence, communication and creative skills.

Who is the programme for?

For current LYT members aged 8-14 who live and/or learn in Lewisham and are interested in drama, performance and theatre making opportunities. To take part your young person must have completed a performance at LYT.

How do I take part?

This programme will run during April and May 2025. The LYT Participation team will contact all existing members with information about how to register your interest.
