The GCDA supporting communities to be healthy and sustainable since 1982. We aim to:

To develop enterprises, which meet economic and social needs and are co-operatively managed.
To deliver training programmes and courses, which build the knowledge and skills of the community and partners we work with across the areas core to our aims; enterprise, health and the environment.
To create community hubs – based on cafes, farms, allotments, market places and training centres
To promote healthy lifestyles to the whole population and particularly those experiencing health inequalities, so their physical and mental well-being is improved.
